I REMEMBER

The Grandpa Song was what we called this one until I named it. I wrote this song for my Grandfather, who sent all us kids to music lessons, because "every one should play music."

How true that turned out to be, music has and is one of the better parts of my life. The song starts with our fall trip to lock up the cabin for the the winter and,,,, well take a listen.

One of my favorite parts of this song is Tom's acoustic guitar solo, who would know a rock guitarist could come up with a country solo.

TEQUILA COWBOY

This song came to me quickly, I wanted to do a duet using the E min to G maj chords and came up with the words sitting at my laptop. We recorded the song with acoustic guitars, but one thing led to another and a rock song is the result. One of the acoustic guitars from the first day of recording is still on the song.

Definately one of my favourites, and yes, that is me playing the lead guitar on this one.

Welcome to our site !

We are the Tequila Cowboys, a rock band out of Maple Ridge BC Canada. We play a mix of original and cover songs with acoustic guitars, bass and drums,,,,,,, OK some times we bring out the electric guitars. Our music is a blend of everything from Led Zeppelin to Grand Funk to old time blues and counrty western. All of us participate in the vocals, making for some great harmonies.
